Mission Statement
To provide leadership, guidance, and support to the business community for the promotion of economic and community growth.
Age Friendly Communities Council
Mission: To promote Carlsbad and Eddy County as areas of healthy aging and being age friendly for all ages. To provide quality of life that allows citizens of all ages to have a sense of excitement, security, and well-being. Support healthy aging and comply with the Age-friendly Communities Act of 2019 to facilitate respect and inclusion of older individuals in social opportunities, civic participation, volunteerism and employment.
Ambassador Council
Mission: To promote Carlsbad as goodwill ambassadors and act as liaisons between the Carlsbad Chamber members and the Chamber. To recruit and retain Chamber members, help raise money for the Chamber, and to assist Chamber members in obtaining maximum value from their Chamber investment.
Carlsbad 40-Under-40 Council
Mission: To recognize and honor dynamic young leaders in Carlsbad for their occupational and community leadership accomplishments, and assist with their professional development and personal growth.
Christmas on the Pecos Council
Mission: To effectively develop a community-based event involving riverfront homeowners, businesses, and volunteers to provide the premier Christmas event in New Mexico.
Education Council
Mission: To promote and provide education and training opportunities to enhance the Carlsbad community and to plan and implement a leadership skills development program.
Governmental Affairs Council
Mission: To assist and promote business participation in government and legislative affairs as well as promote the interest of the Carlsbad business community in the political process.
Guadalupe Ridge Trail Council
Mission: To promote recreational opportunities, awareness and positive growth for the 100mile Guadalupe Ridge Trail, a National Recreation Trail extending from Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Texas through the Lincoln National Forest and BLM lands to Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico.
Positively Carlsbad Council
Mission: To promote positive growth and success through networking and community involvement and to assist the Chamber in organizing and planning large fund-raising events to promote the social interest of the community as well as residents of surrounding communities
Tourism Council
Mission: To promote tourism and solicit conventions for Carlsbad and South Eddy County
