Cost of Living
According to the data compiled by Sperling’s Best Places, the cost of living in Carlsbad is only 73.3 percent of the national average. This means that it is cheaper to live here than the majority of places in the United States. Housing, groceries, healthcare, utilities, and transportation are all less here. So, what would your family do with all that extra money? Would you buy a bigger house, take an annual cruise, purchase a new vehicle, or begin to invest in your future by saving for college and retirement? The term “cost of living” may sound impersonal but the savings to your family isn’t. If you move from a larger and more expensive city, the money you save could make all the difference in your daily quality of life and in your future.
