Eddy County, Carlsbad and Artesia lead NM in Census self-responses

Eddy County, Artesia and Carlsbad lead the State of New Mexico in self-responses to the 2020 United States Census, according to government figures.
Artesia leads the way in the number of respondents who completed a Census form either online or on the phone at 40.2 percent, per April 6 numbers.
Carlsbad was next at 36.6 percent and Eddy County’s self-response rate was 35.9 percent, the numbers indicated.
