Project Environmental Geologist, Scientist, or Engineer or entry level Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Engineer
Responsibilities
Collect soil, groundwater, and air samples for field and/or laboratory analyses. Create detailed maps, lithologic logs, and cross-sections. Gather, tabulate and analyze various types of data. Assist with the preparation and planning of proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports for regulatory agency submittal. Operate and maintain various types of field equipment and instrumentation. Research federal and state rules and regulations associated with permitting, compliance and remediation.
Qualifications
BS in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or other related field. Demonstrated technical writing skills. Ability to maintain safety awareness and understanding of safe work practices. Ability to effectively communicate technical information. Valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required, although the personal vehicles will not be required for use in the field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Effective oral and written communication skills. Legally able to work as a full-time employee in the United States. Able to pass drug and alcohol screening and potential background and driving screening.
